Bio: Donald Davenport grew up in Chino, California, where he spent much of his youth on the baseball diamond learning the value of teamwork and commitment. After high school, he served eight years in the United States Army before beginning a 25-year career with the Richmond Police Department. During his time with RPD, he worked extensively in investigations and held a variety of leadership positions as he advanced through the ranks, ultimately retiring as a Major and Chief of Staff. Early in his law enforcement career, Don attended the University of Richmond, obtaining a bachelor's degree in human resource management — a foundation that proved valuable throughout his years leading teams and managing complex organizational challenges.

Don recently joined Altria Corporate Security and looks forward to continuing his career in security while building new relationships across the organization.
